Throughout this thing, despite the chaos all around me, I have tried to remain detached and calm.
Of course all the niggling little things that need doing continued to bug me.
But now that they're all done I have entered the zone. I am so good in my mind it's not even funny.
I do, however, have the largest ball of butterflies in my stomach.
By this time tomorrow I will be in a huge white dress with fancy hair and makeup and will be preparing to say some important things before all my family and friends.
This will be interesting.
Holy crap.
Dress is hanging in front of me, next to my shoes and various other paraphernalia.
Despite delays, all three rings are shined up and ready to go.
Speech is written, itineraries handed out.
I just need to decorate several dozen cupcakes . . .
Okay so my friend who is giving us a honeymoon just sent me the details about the trip and now I am SO excited.
We'll be staying at Mont Tremblant, at Club Intrawest (34 on the map). Our home away from home for the week is in Les Terrasses, in a one-bedroom suite with free wi-fi and its own porch.
I've been looking at pictures of the hotel and pictures of the village and pamphlets of things to do there and I'm so. STOKED. It's gonna be rad. Nothing like our typical vacations - this will be our opportunity to see how the other half lives . . .
