So I'll start this post with a cute picture. I don't remember the name of the dog, but she was very small, and very scared. This is her in the shelter of Duke's protection:

This charmer is Callum, a Pekingese-Pug cross (with a mohawk) who came in to be groomed the other day, and came back to have his photo taken - because he is the weirdest looking dog we've ever seen. Very gremlin-like.

Finally, this is an empty orange juice can.

You know who made the orange juice? You guessed it - Greg. Not only could he not properly operate the can opener, but he neglected to notice the bright white easy-open tab now a regular feature on all frozen concentrated beverage cans. I discovered this can when I was explaining to Greg that you did not use a metal spoon to vigourously stir soup in a teflon pot; not only did you completely ruin an expensive pot, but the flakes of teflon, now floating in your food, can kill you.
I'm on the internet and for once I didn't put myself there.
I always measure the start of each year with the start of school.
However, this is the first year that I'm not going to school in September - in 20 years.
Weird.
