Fucking snow . . .
Also, fucking money . . .
My Mac has a battery that has decided to quit on me after twenty minutes, regardless of how charged it is. This is a common problem, apparently, among Macs bought at the same period of time as I did. However, my battery is not included in the list of serial numbers covered under the recall, so I have to shell out the $159.99 required for a new one. At least the shipping is free.
Not to mention that Rogers decided not to send us a bill for four months. Or, rather, they sent us bills, but to Andy's old apartment on Riverside. Where he hasn't lived for a year. And from which he has changed his billing address twice. Not to mention the fact that the Rogers guy had to come to my house to install the cable in the first place . . .
So now the bill is $1100.
Now, keep in mind that $200 of that is owed by Greg's father because he bought Greg NHL Centre Ice. Then Andy's company covers internet and phone (of course, Rogers only provided us with photo copies of the bills and BBM-Neilsen won't accept copies, so this might end up being a big NO), so, divided by three, it's only a couple of hundred dollars each.
But still, right around Christmas? Not cool.
On the plus side, I am almost finished my shopping. Just Thida, Chris, Meghan, and John & Sue left . . .
Posted by Ally at November 22, 2007 11:03 AMHoly shit. $1100? I was expecting to hear some woeful tale about $400 or something. $1100 is a damn slap to the face. OUCH. Rogers should be to blame for the late charges, especially if you've changed your(/Andy's) address.
Posted by: Chelle at November 23, 2007 06:23 PMIt's not the late charges. Those aren't included. We just have all the specialty cable and internet.
So it actually is that much.
Posted by: Alio at November 24, 2007 03:06 PMYeah, but there's nothing worse than an accumulated bill of charges. Yuck.
Posted by: Chelle at November 24, 2007 11:00 PMtell me about it . . .
