Christ.
How is it that time moves so unbelievably fast?
I swear it was summer two weeks ago - and I totally believed it was Tuesday last week when it was, in fact, Friday. Just when you need time to do things, it just slips away on you . . .
On the other hand, it's not like I haven't been super-productive these past few weeks. I figured out how to take the screens off my windows (finally), and gave them a good clean, then put vapour barriers over all of them. As soon as I get my hands on an extension cord, I'll hair dryer the shit out of them so they're all tight and stuff.
I also got myself some new plantar fasciitis shoes, so I feel like I'm walking on sunshine all the time now. It's amazing what some motion control will do for pronation. And I finally got myself some athletic tape and, with Melinda's long-distance guidance, taped my feet for hockey. My skates were positively COMFY, a sensation I have never had before. I actually thought that skates were supposed to be a little painful, like climbing shoes, just so you knew they fit right. I was wrong, apparently.
Another thing I did was finally join the Society for International Hockey Research. Turns out it's not as high-profile as I thought it was, and most of its members are really old men, but it's only $30 a year and I have the contact information for all its members, some of whom have written books I've read.
Of course, I haven't done any school-related stuff. Which is actually why I got on the computer in the first place today.
So here's my list of things to do. It's mostly just for my own affirmation so I can see it in public and know that I need to get my ass in gear:

I have your presmits! (Prezmets? Prezmits? WAS there an official spelling?!?)
Posted by: Chelle at November 17, 2007 01:25 PMI don't think so. You and I both spelled it differently (I use prezmitz). I have yours, too, and it will be a mega surprise because it's something you had no idea you wanted, but now that you have it you will never know how you lived without it.
