So apparently the Senators have said no:
"Unfortunately the team will not be able to grant her request. They prefer to not engage in such programs, although they do respect what it is many people are trying to achieve. In today's world of sports business this type of thing is getting harder and harder to do."
I don't have any reasons why, though. Just a no. I'm wondering if I could take another tack and find out why the hell not.
Luckily my happy pills are making it such that I don't feel totally destroyed, so that's something.
